The All Terrier Club of Western Washington was formed to promote interest in all of the terrier breeds. The club includes members who are terrier owners, breeders, judges, and exhibitors in AKC events.
The club invites all interested terrier owners who want to learn and participate in our activities, both serious and fun, to join us in the joy of having a terrier in your life. We have monthly meetings on the 4th Wednesday of each month, all interested persons are welcome to attend.
If you have any questions about the club, please e-mail us at .
Club goals include:
To educate the public about the exceptional qualities of each of the 31 individual breeds that comprise the AKC’s Terrier Group.
To promote interest in AKC activities owners can participate in — both in the conformation and in the performance arena — by sponsoring the ATCWW Group Show, which is currently held twice a year — Winter and Summer — at the Puyallup Fairgrounds.
To provide educational opportunities for club members, exhibitors, judges, breeders, and all other terrier enthusiasts and owners to learn about their breed, how to care for them, how to train them, to learn about participation in AKC events, and to help understand health issues that some of these breeds have.
We welcome applications for membership from all. To apply for membership, one must read, complete and submit both a membership application and our code of ethics.
The club was formed in September, 1989.
